DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

Technicians have years of experience in fixing dishwasher problems that cause strange sounds to come from the appliance. The source of the sounds is usually either a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Since these are common problems, customers can be sure we will be able to fix them immediately!

LEAKING WATER

There are usually one of two reasons a dishwasher is leaking water. One reason is there is a problem with the door latch or closure and it will need a replacement. Another cause is a failed water inlet valve that can be fixed immediately upon our arrival to your home. We have all of the manufacturer parts to fix GE, Whirlpool, Sears and all common brands of dishwashers.

DOESN’T TURN ON

In the event a dishwasher won’t turn on, you be sure the dishwasher is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers in the kitchen tripped. If this is not the problem, then the problem could be coming from the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

Your dishwasher should fill with water and drain water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher does not fill if there is a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher won’t drain if there is a malfunctioning drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.

WON’T WASH DISHES

Your dishwasher is not of much use if the dishes are still dirty after a cycle. The dishes will be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have manufacturer replacement parts available to repair dishwasher issues right away.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for the appliance to wash and dry dishes. You do not want to have to hand dry your dishes after a cycle. A dishwasher will not dry when there is a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We can repair or replace manufacturer parts that perform the drying functions of all brands and models of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE SOAP

For your dishwasher to wash dishes, it needs to be able to dispense detergent or soap inside of the machine. This doesn’t occur when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
